New opportunity to gain valuable sales and sales support experience within a friendly and dynamic environment. This role provides support to the sales team whilst gaining valuable experience of field and in-house sales and general business operations

Deliverables:

Spend time across all departments of the sales function, contribute towards the delivery of the business strategy and in achieving its goals

Support the sales team in the planning and delivery of seasonal product presentations in showrooms, road-shows and trade shows as needed

Take on projects set by the Sales Manager

Assist the sales team in order book management and account administration

Monitor account sell-through data, ensuring all commercial opportunities are capitalised on and that key elements are shared across the business.

Support the Technical Training Manager with training of store staff across the  account base

Attend and participate in sales team meetings and product launches

Timely completion of monthly reports, weekly movements and all other forms of admin

Regularly feedback information on customers and competitors in the market place, throughout the business, via appropriate communication channels

Work closely with the customer support teams to ensure the needs of the UK business are met

Gain a thorough understanding of the Sales function and support the Sales Manager, and Sales Team, across various projects and tasks as required by the business

Self Management

Reinforce and act as an ambassador for Company Values

Take steps to constantly refresh understanding of best practice and knowledge of business performance

Health and Safety

Responsible for recognising, reporting and removing all hazards across the floor

Regularly review department storage, filing etc to maintain a tidy and safe working environment

Essential Role Requirements & Technical Knowledge:

Relevant undergraduate business related degree (e.g. sales / marketing / business studies)

Knowledge of outdoor industry and/or Retail experience would be beneficial

Computer literate, specifically with Microsoft Office skills

Proven communication skills – both written and spoken

Ability to work well in a team

Enthusiastic and willing to learn

Excellent time management, organisational skills and good attention to detail

Ability to multi task

Clean driving license required
