£40,000 to £45,000 (Realistic OTE £60,000) + Mileage Allowance

Area Sales Manager position available for a leading renewable energy company expanding across the whole of the UK.

This is a great chance to work with a growing business experiencing a huge surge in renewable energy products.

To apply for the post you must have previous experience of selling renewable energy products.

The role is both new business and account management. You'll carry out pre sales activities including sales proposals and tender bids along with any site surveys to clients across the UK.

The company's objective is to be the leading supplier in biomass energy, in doing so they hope to reduce the Britain's carbon footprint by providing customers with commercially viable heating and power solutions.

The Role:

- Cold-calling and sales prospecting in the UK
- Pre-sales activities including preparing sales proposals and tender bids
- Assist in conducting site surveys around the UK and identifying system requirements
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with clients
- Managing the client's account and building relationships with existing clients
- Selling in the main to end users (agricultural businesses) but also to hotels, farmers, landlords etc
- Territory covers the whole of the UK, focused predominantly on the Midlands area but will report to head offices in London twice a week

The Candidate:

- Can negotiate effectively
- Will have a proven track record in both new business generation and relationship building account management.
