Our client is a small privately owned software company. They have been developing software for the telecoms marketplace for over 15 years and their innovative solutions allow independent telecoms providers to invoice their customers in an accurate and timely manner. Due to continued growth they have a full time vacancy to join their small but growing team.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the successful applicant must possess an outgoing and friendly telephone manner and have a confident approach to dealing with customers. Excellent numeracy, communication and PC skills are a must for this role, as is the ability to learn quickly and work under your own initiative. Applicants should also be well organised and possess a keen eye for detail.

The role involves training, supporting and advising customers via telephone and other remote support systems on how to use their software solutions. In addition, the successful applicant will be required to carry out other administrative duties, including setting up and training new customers; compiling management reports; testing of new features and other general administrative duties as required.

They will provide full training to help you succeed in the role, however applicants must possess a solid educational background and any qualifications or experience directly related to a customer service, telecoms or computer / IT support role would be a distinct advantage.

• Excellent communication skills (written &oral)
• Strong numeracy skills
• Excellent all round PC skills, including MS Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
• Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
• Proactive approach
• Excellent organisational skills
• Telecoms, administrative, customer service or IT support experience an advantage

Salary: £14,000 - £18,000 per Annum
