Shift Equipment Technicians

IQE and Cardiff University have established a Joint Venture to lead the development and commercialization of Compound Semiconductor technologies in Europe. The Compound Semiconductor Centre (CSC) is a key milestone towards the creation of a European high-tech cluster centred in Wales.

The CSC works closely with Cardiff University’s Institute of Compound Semiconductors (ICS) and IQE to bridge early stage research, product development, prototyping, and pilot production, through to high volume manufacturing.

Shift Equipment Technicians

You will provide hands on Equipment Engineering support by maintaining the various manufacturing systems in terms of breakdown maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, record keeping and performance

Shifted roles are on a 24/7 basis; 2 day shifts, 2 nights shifts, 4 rest days For all of our roles a good general standard of education is required along with a qualification in a relevant discipline.
