Birkenhead High School Academy is seeking to appoint a Student Welfare Lead Professional

Salary: Full time in the region of £30,000
(Salary is pro rata as this role is term-time only plus 5 INSET days and 5 holiday call-in days)

BHSA is an all through 3-19 years girls’ state funded academy sponsored by the Girls’ Day School Trust, on a fully refurbished site. BHSA is a highly successful centre of education where every student matters, expectations of all members of our community are high and personal achievement and fulfilment are valued and sought after, and all within a friendly and supportive family environment.

The Student Welfare Lead Professional will work with pupils of all ages and abilities who need help to overcome barriers to their learning and progress, building supportive relationships on a one-to-one or group basis. These barriers may include a pupil’s own ill-health, their behaviour, family problems, bereavement, friendship issues, low self-confidence or poor study skills.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children and child protection screening will apply to this post.
