Client Services Manager

Location: Oxfordshire Client Services Manager -

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responding to client queries and those from third parties (e.g. HMRC) in a timely manner.

• Seeking to gain experience/ progress my role and those of other staff by seeking to take more advanced work from partners myself and delegating more routine work to others, thereby aiding cost-effectiveness and adding to interest/ training of all within the section.

• Developing knowledge of clients and their businesses so as to become their point of contact on day-to-day matters.

• Reviewing accounts and tax work performed by more junior staff). Includes corporate and unincorporated clients. Completing staff appraisal forms and ensuring minimum numbers are met. Providing feedback (good and bad!) and training as required.

• Checking of journal adjustments and (occasionally) final accounts and D1 computations. • Preparation of tax returns. The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

• You will have an ACA or ACCA Qualification and a degree or equivalent experience. 

• You will have a minimum of 3 years proven Tax experience within a commercial environment or preferably 2 years Tax experience within practice

• You will have a strong presence and excellent communication skills able to quickly build rapport and trust

 

The Package : What You Could Earn: • Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience

• Commission of 25% of the first years fees is paid on new business

• BUPA cover for employees who have satisfactorily completed 2 years service.

• 23 days holiday in addition to Bank Holidays

• Life insurance for three times their annual basic salary.

• Our client has auto enrolled and offers the standard 1% employer and 1% employee contribution from commencement of employment. In addition to this the Firm provides a personal pension plan to employees who have satisfactorily completed 2 years service. The scheme is currently non contributory and details can be provided on request.
