Residential Support Worker - Southport

Due to the award of a nationwide contract, we urgently require ten experienced support workers to join our team.

Candidates will be supporting children and young people with complex needs including autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour in residential or supported living settings.

Candidates must have a minimum of six months paid care experience and be flexible and reliable. Drivers are preferred and those who already possess an NVQ / QCF in health and social care will have an advantage.

We can offer full and part time hours and we are also interested in hearing from candidates who are looking for weekend only care work.

In return we can offer weekly pay, free specialist training worth over £500 including BILD accredited courses, flexible working, day or night shifts and the opportunity to undertake a care qualification, free of charge.

This role is subject to full safer employment checks including an enhanced DBS disclosure. The cost of this is £56.50 which will be met by the applicant, but we also accept portable, enhanced DBS certificates.

As soon as pre employment checks and training are complete, immediate work is available.  We can turn your file around and have you out to work with in two weeks. Please note that the majority of our casual workers are offered permanent positions with our care providers within the first three months of employment.
