Part Time Purchase Ledger & Credit Control Administrator – 22.5 hours per week, based in Bromborough, Merseyside
The company supplies processing and packaging equipment in to the food and pharmaceutical industries throughout the UK and Ireland. There is a requirement for a Purchase and Credit Control Administrator to work 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, however, for the right candidate there may be flexibility around days / hours and start and finish times. Additionally, there will be the possibility of additional hours / days to provide cover during absences.
The role will suit a locally based candidate who is seeking a demanding role with a progressive company based in Bromborough, Merseyside. The start date is ASAP.
The role of Part Time Purchase Ledger & Credit Control Administrator:
- Scanning, analysing, costing, posting and filing all purchase invoices.
- Analysing and posting Barclaycard statements.
- Credit control for spares, engineering and project invoices.
- Provide cover for Customer Support Administration and / or Goods Received during absences.
- Assist with other ad hoc administrative duties, including answering phones.
The ideal Part Time Purchase Ledger & Credit Control Administrator:
- Proven experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Proven ability to chase and secure payment of outstanding invoices.
- Must be a flexible self-starter.
- High level of numeracy and literacy with good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong PC / MS Office skills and experience of using a computerised accountancy package; training will be provided on the Client’s system.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and priorities work accordingly.
- To work with the minimum of supervision.
Package:
- Basic salary circa £13,000.
- Contractual Annual Bonus, equivalent to one month’s salary, paid in December each year (Pro-rated)
- Pension, Life insurance, Permanent Health insurance.
- 20 days annual leave, plus statutory Bank Holidays, rising to 25 days after 5 years’ service (Pro-rated).
