Supply Assignments available within Special Educational Needs Schools and Provisions

To work as a Special Educational Needs Teacher you will need a teaching qualification and mainstream teaching experience. Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is helpful but not essential. We work closely with a number of SEN schools and provisions that are able to help you gain experience working with students with a variety of needs.

As a SEN Teacher you will be required to;
Teach National Curriculum subjects which have been tailored to the childrens' needs
Help pupils to develop their self-confidence, independence, abilities and attitudes
Work with other professionals, such as medical professionals, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists and speak to parents and carers about their children's progress

You will be working with and supported by a team of Learning Support Assistants and Teaching Assistants.

If you are passionate about the education and welfare of pupils and would like the opportunity to work in some unique schools then please contact Megan Smith on 0117 929 9882 or email megan.smith@randstadeducation.co.uk
Applications from NQTs are welcome
