Finance / Accounts Manager (Part time) - Food Manufacturing Equipment 
Theale, Berkshire
Salary up to £35,000 FTE DOE (Plus private insurance, contributory pension plan, 25 days’ holiday and bank holidays (pro rata)


Flexible working available: we can accommodate either 3 full days or the hours split across 5 days

Food Manufacturing Equipment - Part of an Italian group, we are a small Company based in Theale and are an equipment manufacturing and process engineering company supplying the margarine, bakery, gelatine, cocoa, pastry and confectionery industry.

The role & main responsibilities:

We are recruiting a Finance Manager /Accounts Manager to manage the accounts function for our engineering business and small office. 

> Payroll 
> Sales and Purchase Ledger
> Bookkeeping duties
> Preparation and submission of VAT Return
> Preparation of end of year accounts for submission to Company Accountants
> Running Management Accounts and other on-demand reports
> Analysing financial reports and acting on any anomalies until rectification

The role-holder will also be tasked with ensuring that the office runs smoothly, as such we anticipate at least 2 days per month assigned to general office management duties 

Ideally you will have experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, ACG etc. You will have the ability to quickly learn on the job and effectively use an in-house finance system. The position involves reporting financial information to our offices in Italy so the ability to understand/speak Italian would be an advantage. This role would suit a flexible individual who can adapt to the needs of the business but also enjoys stability in a role. 

About you:

> AAT Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience 
> Fully competent with accounting software
> Payroll experience (run directly not outsourced)
> Excellent administration and organisational skills
> Keen to add value where ever possible
> Experience with Spare parts / stock control
> Ability to integrate into a small “tight knit” team
> Flexibility during busy Accountant periods 

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant, Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller.
