Sr Interaction Designer/Researcher - Berkshire or Hertfordshire

Are there any Senior UX professionals out there bridging the gap between UX Design and Research?

A technology company with a global presence are on the lookout for a Senior UX Designer/Researcher to join their office in either Hertfordshire or Berkshire. User Experience is of growing importance to this company and their team is growing. This client-side role will see you owning significant UX and UI design responsibilities for web applications, operating under the direction of UX Design and UX Architect Management.

We're seeking an experienced Interaction design researcher who's comfortable defining the full spectrum digital experiences of the products released across a variety of platforms. This opportunity is for someone with solid Research experience, not just a little exposure here and there. As a senior Design Researcher in the UX team you'll be directly responsible for the designs that are released.

The right person for this role will have 3-5 years industry experience in an IXD or IA capacity. Being a senior level role, we need a UXer who is can present designs to varying audiences at all stages, someone who is able to effectively communicate concepts to key stakeholders. We're seeking a design researcher with a keen interest in their field and who is up-to-date on technologies, methodologies and best practice; an expert with industry knowledge and familiarity with what is trending. A user experience design researcher prepared to challenge the norm, but confident to deliver on deadlines.

Being a Senior UX/IxD designer it's imperative the right person for this role is comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Having an understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is also a huge benefit, as is efficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Being a UX design role, it's expected that the successful candidate can demonstrate skill and experience creating user flow diagrams, wireframes, personas, prototypes and a high standard of UI design.
