Job Title: Assistant Manager
Location: Kent
Salary: up to £25,000 depending on experience
One of the leading independent Commercial vehicle tyre management and maintenance businesses in the South East of England are looking for an exceptional individual to work at their Aylesford, Kent branch.
As one of the four dedicated centres they employ a team of fully trained technicians and have a fleet of highly equipped vehicles to provide an unrivalled service to the fleet sector.
As the Assistant Manager you will need to be energetic, confident and you must be comfortable assisting in the decision making process and giving guidance to the operations team.
The role will cover:
- Help supervise Operations Team
- Ensure administration duties are completed and paperwork is passed on to Head Office
- Ensure a first class service is provided to our customers at all times
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Check fleet to make sure they are up to an acceptable quality and all tools and PPE are accounted for
- Maintaining records and carrying out regular stock takes
- Following and abiding by the Company's Health and Safety Policy
- Carrying out any reasonable request for other work
The successful applicant must have:
- Previous Experience within the tyre Industry desirable
- Basic education at GCSE or higher
- Good Administration skills
- Computer skills including experience on all Microsoft Office packages
- Organised and good time management
- Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email and face to face
- Ability to use initiative and have a forward thinking attitude
- An understanding of CAM systems would be desirable
