Position: Commercial Administrator/Cost Clerk   
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire
Salary: Competitive Salary Dependent Upon Experience

The Company:
Our client has 40 years’ experience in the Installation of high quality structural protection membranes and coating systems, They have achieved a high level of growth year on year.  They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join their existing Commercial Team based from their offices in Knutsford, Cheshire.
 
The Commercial Administrator/Cost Clerk Role:
  • Reporting to the General Manager, you will offer general Commercial and Administrative support to their Commercial Team
  • Compiling and analysing weekly site records for each project ensuring full records are received from each site weekly and allocated to each contract file
  • Ensuring weekly wage information is accurate and sent through on time from sites
  • Dealing with any queries arsing to produce weekly bonus and wages payment schedules
  • Provision of accurate Cost Analysis Reports on a monthly basis for Direct Operatives, Plant, Materials and Subcontractors.to form monthly reports
  • Compiling and tabulating daily and weekly site production outputs for each project
  • Hours of work would be 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday

The following requirements are also expected:
  • Strong administrative skills and accurate data entry skills
  • An excellent communicator, you will have to be highly organised and be able to prioritise tasks
  • With strong IT skills partially in relation to Excel and Word, you will need to be enthusiastic and flexible with an eye for detail
  • They are looking for somebody who enjoys working in a fast paced environment, has a resilient attitude with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Knowledge and understanding of the administration of contract records would be an advantage but not imperative
