A new opportunity has arisen for a hard working, enthusiastic IT Software Support Technician to grow our client’s support team and help customers get the best service they can.
What you’ll need
• Solid knowledge of SQL and Excel
• An understanding of web-based applications
• Good problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication and written capabilities
• A related degree or equivalent experience
• Great customer service skills
About the role
As a Support Technician you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to customers using the company’s software across the UK and in over 60 countries worldwide. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting system set-ups and configurations
• Providing administrator training and support to clients over the phone and by email
• Resolving customer queries and/or escalating issues where required
• Producing specifications for systems developments, testing and overseeing system launches
• Management of smaller IT projects
• Liaising with internal developers, designers, web builders and sales staff
