Exciting Opportunity with Loop Knowledge Manager Based at Thornbury, Bradford Your role as Knowledge Manager will be to lead the promotion of and the provision of Knowledge Management for Loop Customer Management. This will include the implementation of Knowledge Strategy and include the ownership of the Kana Knowledge Management System.

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days annual leave

What will the role involve?

You will be required to promote best practice and the use of the new system at all levels with in the business as well as collaborate with colleagues in Yorkshire Water and Loop.

You will manage a team of virtual knowledge authors around the business who will create the content. Once created you will be required to check and publish new documents to the system.

There will be a requirement to transfer a number of our existing knowledge stores into the new system in a structured manner.

As the owner of the Kana Knowledge Management system you will be required to maintain the system as well as work with Yorkshire Water IT to ensure its effective operation.

What skills are we looking for?

You will have previous experience of Knowledge Management and an understanding of how taxonomies can be used to ensure that we can make best use of the new Kana Knowledge Management system.

You will have good communication and influencing skills at all levels including stakeholder management.

Good analytical skills are required to analyse data to understand how the system is performing in terms of its own and business metrics.

A good level of written communication and an eye for detail are key requirements for the role

You will display good organisational skill and ideally have previous experience of project management.

You will have a good level of technical understanding or are able to understand new systems quickly.

Previous experience of managing a team is preferred.
