New House Specialist Residential Home
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Ludlow Street Health care; we are currently employing senior support workers and support workers, to work at New House in the St.Fagans area of Cardiff. The home will accommodate younger adult Service Users with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition) that may have an association with other complex needs and may present with challenging behaviour. Many of our younger adults move on to the OCS homes as a preferred pathway from our hospital and educational Services, to maintain continuity in care.
- Plan and monitor shift plans and Service user activities.
- Report writing skills- CPA, MDT, care plans and risk assessments
- Supervise and carryout supervisions for support staff
- Finance control
- Induct and support staff with training and key skills in role
- Deal with emergencies- relating to safe guarding service users, documentation, reporting critical events to relevant parties
- Effectively manage the home in the absence of the home manager.
- Work towards or have an NVQ/QCF 3 In Health and social care
- Key work, build professional relationship with Service user.
