House Manager / Care Manager Adults with a Learning Disability / Autism

As a Service Manager at ZENO Ltd, you will be responsible for managing a team of Support Workers who work alongside adults who have a learning disability and who have challenging behaviour(s) in a supported living environment. Your responsibilities will range from liaising with health professionals and managing medication to coordinating activities, supervising and appraising your staff team and the production of rotas and management of strict financial budgets. You will be provided with weekly office hours, however, you will also be expected to work alongside your staff team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will report to the Registered Manager.

The company has a strong focus on outdoor activities, enhancing the lives of the people we support to live as full a life as possible. Managers will accompany their team on walking/hiking activities, cycling, swimming, horse-riding, cinema trips and numerous other activities.

You must have substantial experience as a service manager in a supported living environment working with adults with a Learning Disability, and possess an NVQ/Diploma level 2 or above in Health and Social Care. Qualifications in other areas of Health & Social Care will be considered. Further training will be provided for this role.

You must be able to work on a flexible rota system and conduct regular on-call duties. A valid and full driver’s licence is essential for this position. You will be expected to complete some weekend and sleep-in duties as part of the role to ensure quality assurance.
