We have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join us in our Penzance service on a 30 hours a week, part-time contract.

 us and support individuals to live the lives they choose. Because we are all different, your role as a Support Worker will be varied - what you do and how you do it will depend on the needs of the individuals you are supporting. No one day is the same but it could include supporting a person to:

  • Meet up with friends and enjoy their hobbies 

  • Make meals and carry out household tasks

  • Manage their finances

  • Take medication

  • Get washed and dressed

  • Stay healthy and safe

To be a great Support Worker, you don’t need previous experience or qualifications. What you do need is compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect. You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
