Visitor Services Officer
A vacancy has arisen for a Visitor Services Officer (VSO) at the Museum of Lead Mining in Wanlockhead, a registered charity. The position is a full time post with flexible working providing more hours in the open season.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees the position’s primary task is attracting and organising the visitor experience at the museum and with significant administrative duties. Excellent customer care skills are required as is a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAGE accounting system. You will be responsible for coordinating the work of the employees to ensure high standards of customer care and visitor experience.
The museum is open April through September and attracts 6000 visitors per year and our website gives further information. During the closed season the VSO will work with the team to plan the next season.
