The Engineering Education Scheme Wales Ltd is currently seeking a South East Wales Co-ordinator, who will work under the supervision of the Senior Responsible Officer work with the Senior Responsible Officer, EESW and the Project teams to maintain and expand school/industry/HE links to facilitate all strands of the Project in the South East Wales region, initially on a fixed term contract from September 2015 – 28th February 2017.  There may be a possibility of extension from this date, depending on funding. 

The Engineering Education Scheme Wales runs the STEMCymru Project which encourages young people in the 11 to 19 year age range to participate in innovative technological & engineering activities to contextualise & improve skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. This raises aspiration and attainment levels in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing, increasing numbers of students entering employment, FE and HE in these economically vital areas.

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and will be based at the Waterton Centre, Bridgend.  The salary for this position will be £35,000 per annum, with an allowance of 28 days holiday (including bank holidays).
