About the role
The Track Partnership is part of the Renewals Division of Balfour Beatty Rail (UK) Limited.
The Track Partnership's mission is to consistently deliver high quality, on-time track renewals for London Underground, whilst improving safety, reducing cost and providing a reliable service for our customer.
We achieve this through our Integrated Project Team Organisation which brings together in partnership dedicated and professional staff from both Balfour Beatty and London Underground.
As a result the Track Partnership works in a close, collaborative (project based) way and rewards performance, innovation and quality.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Programme Development Manager to join us.
What you'll be doing
- Develop the ESTL delivery Programme alongside SUP
- Develop the interface agreements with ATC & SUP
- Develop accurate cost estimate for ESTL delivery Programme
- Develop strategic access/closure plan ESTL
- Develop outline delivery plan for each site
- Develop strategic plant programme for ESTL
- Develop concept design including modularisation of the new layouts in conjunction with the delivery strategy
- Develop ESTL programme with Signals and Power
- Integrate with innovations steering group
- Candidate to be able to present and communicate up to senior team level
- Candidate would be expected to support weekend delivery ( including bank holidays) and also be able to facilitate night visits
Who we're looking for
Essential:
- Degree or extensive experience in Engineering, Construction or any other relevant field
- Demonstrable understanding of track design drawings
- LU Track Accustomed Cert, LUCAS card desirable
- IT skills (MS office)
- Full UK driving licence
- Working knowledge of LU planning systems
- This role is a technically challenging role and candidates would be expected to have significant railway knowledge and experience.
- Please note: This role requires working on weekends and nights.
