We are looking for an experienced Building Quantity Surveyor/Claims Investigator for our client to augment their Building Insurance business! This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced work environment and gain advanced exposure!

Location is flexible and UK travel will be expected!

As Building Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities include:

• Visiting sites and evaluating the causes
• Evaluating the liability of the insurer as per the terms of the policy
• Calculating the cost of repairs
• Compile scheduling of the repairs
• Liaising between the insured and builder for repairs

The right Building Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Previous similar experience in building or construction industry
• A professional certification through MRICS/MCIOB (preferable)
• Experience in insurance investigation / evaluation
• Knowledge of building regulations and construction methods
• Excellent communication and people skills
