Contracts Supervisor

FINTEC recruit are seeking a Contracts Supervisor for our client who is a leading sports field contractor. This is a permanent role based in Hampshire, on offer is a salary of £27,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience.

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Contracts Director you will be responsible for managing the day to day delivery of contracts, liaising with site operators, foremen and the office team

• Communicate with clients and suppliers
• Compile and maintain site H&S records
• Organise labour, materials and plant
• Develop project programmes and record resource allocations
• Cost capture, month end valuations and contract reporting

The ideal candidate for the Contracts Supervisor role will have

• An understanding of JCT/NEC contracts
• A sound knowledge of CDM and HSE requirements in a construction environment
• Practical understanding of earthworks, drainage and general construction operations
• Experience of managing staff (both contractors and company employees) and resources
• Familiarity and competency with Microsoft Office applications
• A flexible and positive attitude to varying work requirements
• A clean driving licence

The role is both office and site based and you will need to be comfortable working in both environments dealing with multiple projects at any time. Highly motivated and organised, with previous experience at a similar level within the same or a similar industry then this may be the role for you.
