Commercial Manager

FINTEC recruit are seeking a Commercial Manager for our client who are a leading sports field contractor. This is a permanent role based in Hampshire, on offer is a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience and benefits package including a car.

Role and Responsibilities

Effectively manage monthly costs, valuations and reporting of projects. Duties will include, but not be limited to

• Manage the valuation and payment process between clients and contractors
• Provide Commercial support to the contracts team
• Assist purchasing manager with cost allocation and reporting
• Develop company procedures and pro-forma to maximise efficiency and record keeping
• Manage the process of valuations and payment between clients and contractors
• Provide support and cover for the accounts department as necessary

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Manager role will have

• An understanding of JCT/NEC contracts
• Highly computer literate and familiar with Sage Accounts and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience at basic negotiating
• A flexible and positive attitude to varying work requirements
• A methodical nature with excellent record keeping and analytical skills

The role is office based, but occasional travel to client sites will be required. If you have previous experience at a similar level or are looking to make your next step up, a good commercial background and contractual understanding then this may be the role for you.
