Salary - £32,000 plus benefits, pro rata
Hours - Full time (37.5 hours per week)

About the role
As a Disability Assessor, you will be joining a team of highly skilled and qualified health care professionals embarking on a new and rewarding role, where you will utilise your extensive clinical knowledge and natural skills of listening, observing and empathizing with people. Undertaking a Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment is similar to a functional assessment and you will be assessing how disabilities or impairments have an impact on activities of daily living and mobility.

Essential Qualifications and Skills.

• Occupational Therapist, Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist
• At least two years’ post-registration experience, as confirmed on the relevant professional register
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to compose a professional and grammatically accurate report

Desirable skills

• Computer literate, knowledge of databases, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
