Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for a team of Support Workers on behalf of their client, a leading social enterprise based in Bury.

As Therapeutic Parents and Senior Therapeutic Parents you will look after children in residential settings in Greater Manchester area. Successful candidates will be provided with further training and scope for career progression in a rewarding role that offers job satisfaction.

You will be looking after children on a day to day basis in residential homes delivering the Restorative Parenting^® recovery programme.

The main responsibilities of the Support Worker roles will include:

• Day to day therapeutic parenting of the child in the residential homes
• Undertake all household tasks including domestic chores
• Ensure that the needs of the home and children are met at all times (social, emotional, cultural and educational needs).
• Participating in the assessment of their needs and the implementation of plans for their future.
• Attendance at consultation meetings with the organisation’s Clinical Team to monitor children’s recovery and progress on their Recovery Programme
• Ensure that all documentation is completed when on duty
• Assist in maintaining staffing levels
• Assist with any other ad hoc duties commensurate to the job role and pay scale
