One of MBi Hotels’ recently opened establishments is The Llandudno Bay Hotel, a brand-new four star boutique-style hotel located in a prime location on the magnificent Promenade in Llandudno, North Wales. The hotel compromises of 61 bedrooms, restaurant, bar, lounge and function facilities, with the addition of a health spa in the future. From the outset, the focus of MBi Hotels is the guest, with the team offering a genuinely welcoming experience for relaxation and indulgence.

As part of the Food and Beverage / Conference and Banqueting Department, you will work within a professional front of house team whose main responsibilities include, although are not limited to;

• Advising customers on food and beverage options 
• Taking customer orders
• Serving food and preparing beverages for guests
• Handling payments
• Understanding customer requirements and acting upon them
• Keeping up to date with promotions and menus, to provide information to guests on request
• Prioritising tasks and working as part of a team to provide efficient customer service
• Maintaining and providing excellent knowledge of local area to customers as required
• Ensuring excellent house-keeping standards are maintained

To be considered for a role within the Food and Beverage / Conference and Banqueting department, you will have the following skills, knowledge and attributes;

• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload
• Team player with initiative to work on own when required
• High level of professionalism with ability to remain calm in tense or challenging situations
• Good standard of numeracy

Experience gained within the hospitality sector is highly desirable, in particular in a high class 4 star plus hotel, although not essential. Experience in a guest facing / customer services role is also desirable.

Due to licencing laws we require employees to be 18 yrs plus.

Contracted Hours:        Various hours are available.
