Employment Law Consultant – Solicitor – Barrister - Recently Qualified (AWDO-P1811)

Recently Qualified Employment Law Consultant / Solicitor / Lawyer / Barrister required by a well-established and respected Legal Consultancy based in Fareham, Hampshire.

SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum   

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Recently Qualified Employment Law Consultant (Solicitor / Lawyer / Barrister / Consultant) that has some previous commercial experience dealing with employment law matters and keeps up to date in the latest legislation effecting this sector.

Due to a period of expansion, the company is seeking to recruit an Employment Law Consultant (Solicitor / Lawyer / Barrister / Consultant) to join their Education Team advising schools and other educational establishments on all aspects of the employer / employee relationships.

DUTIES

As an Employment Law Consultant (Solicitor / Lawyer / Barrister / Consultant) in the Education Team your duties will include some or all of the following:

• Visiting new clients to determine their employment law / HR requirements, mainly in the South East but occasionally further

• Drafting tailored contracts of employment, employee handbooks and policies and procedures

• Providing clear and accurate employment law / HR advice by telephone and email so that the client is able to act upon it

• Delivering on site bespoke consultancy on projects such as disciplinary hearings, redundancy projects and so on

• Assisting with training and training plans when required

• Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients
