Housekeeper

This company is the holding company of an expanding private healthcare group offering state of the art services in assisted conception and women's health. The group is now in a position to become the UK's leading provider of fertility and women's health services.

They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Housekeeper in their private clinic based in London Bridge, who can provide a high standard of cleanliness across the unit and help with the general up keep of the facility.

They are looking for a motivated individual who has experience of cleaning, infection control, preventative protective equipment and the safe storage of hazardous cleaning materials as well as knowledge and experience of COSHH and the National Specification for Cleanliness in Hospitals, gained within private or NHS healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will have experience of 'deep' cleaning, storing cleaning products, relevant record keeping, be patient focused, possess high cleaning standards, have excellent communication (including written and spoken English) and good inter-personal skills. They will have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well within a team whilst being patient focused.

Vocational qualifications in a practical building subject such as plumbing or electrical maintenance are highly desirable.

The role will require the candidate to be on-call and available for emergency call-outs and therefore should ideally live within a commutable distance. Hours of work are based on a 45 hour week (Monday to Saturday) plus an on-call (24hrs) on shift basis.

As they are a licenced and regulated clinic, a DBS check (formally CRB) will be required and will be carried out by the company, as part of the recruitment process.
