Smart Solutions Recruitment are currently looking to recruit Production Operatives to work within the manufacturing sector. The vacancy is based within the St Mellons area of Cardiff. The hourly rate is £6.50 Per hour for days, working 7.30am - 4pm.
Due to business needs there may be the opportunity to work shift patterns. This would involve flexible individuals who can work between 6am - 2pm one week and 2pm - 10pm the next. There is also overtime available.The position is a Long Term Temporary role.
Core responsibilities of this role include:
•Working in a cleanroom environment
•Ensure parts, equipment, assembly aids and drawings are properly handled and stored and a good standard of housekeeping is maintained.
•Managing own work performance, focusing on accuracy whilst finishing the product, this includes following spreadsheets when completing the order ensuring the finished products are completed and packed to the clients expectations
•Checking product quality
•Adhere to company procedures and Comply and work within all current H&S rules and guidelines.
•All other essential duties as directed.
Behaviours/Skills/Experience:
•Ability to communicate well in English both written and orally
•Strong attention to detail
•Good team player
•Works with integrity, customer focus, accountability and team work
•Experience of working in a cleanroom environment is desirable but not essential
•Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment completing dextrose work is desirable but not essential
