Career Development Advisor / Assessor based in Derby offering a salary of up to £34,000

A charitable trust set up by a consortium of Lancashire businesses and is now one of the largest Group Training Associations in England, with nearly 50 years' experience of delivering high quality work-based learning and training programmes to industry and individuals. We have grown to more than 250 staff and 11 centres across the North West and other areas of the UK, working with national employers across a wide range of sectors, whilst maintaining local support.

In accordance with organisational development, we have the following important vacancy within the Engineering department to be based at the Rolls-Royce site in Derby.

You will be responsible for the day to day monitoring and assessment of a group of Apprentices working towards the achievement of Apprenticeship frameworks in engineering disciplines.

The successful Career Development Advisor / Assessor will be actively promoting and engaging with key stakeholders through the Rolls-Royce supported “Manufacturing Skills Partnership”, delivering the key project KPI’s and outcomes.

The post requires a self motivated and effective team player who possesses excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants must have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, an assessor qualification is desirable and Team Leading experience would be a definite advantage.

This role will involve an amount of travel and a current driving licence and availability of a vehicle is therefore essential.
