Digital Marketing Manager, Head of Digital Marketing, London
We are recruiting for a leading luxury serviced office provider in London and has been operating at the high-end of the commercial property sector for 15 years. It is an exciting business and is looking to bring a Digital Marketing Manager on board to drive the digital marketing strategy and significantly enhance the company's digital presence.
This role will suit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who has broad digital marketing experience across website strategy, SEO, social media, content marketing and analytics. The role will have responsibility for two company websites and deliver a range of activity optimising both in-house resource and external specialist digital marketing suppliers. The role offers career prospects and is both stimulating and rewarding.
You will work alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure that the digital marketing aspect of marketing plans is delivered to a high standard and the company's digital presence is enhanced to support lead generation, client retention and market positioning of both brands.
Overall Responsibilities
*Development and delivery of the digital marketing strategy for all company brand's.
*Development and delivery of social media strategy including delivery of content/blog calendar, listening strategy (listening dashboard) and programs of activity to increase community of followers across key social media channels;
*On-going review of competitor websites and planned response to counteract threats/act on opportunities;
*SEO strategy and tactics including management of external SEO outreach supplier and in-house link-building and other website SEO optimisation activity;
*Data strategy - in-house lists, purchased lists, online data capture, segmentation and analysis;
*Provide support to the Marketing Manager and the Senior Marketing Executive on digital campaign planning;
*Maintain close liaison with all departments on all activities as per JD provided;
Skills required:
*Excellent CMS and website technical knowledge;
*Strong proofreading/editing and copywriting skills;
*Understanding of HTML and CSS principles (basic coding) is desirable;
*Strong knowledge in SEO strategy and best practice including link-building strategy;
*Excellent knowledge in Google Analytics and reporting;
*Excellent communication skills;
*Forward planning and proactive;
*Attention to detail;
*Creative thinker;
*Results driven and confident in handling figures;
*Knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint;
*Team player with strong work ethics;
*Experienced in managing external suppliers (eg. web developers, SEO/PPC agencies) - preferable.
The successful candidate will have:
*Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing of Business (or relevant experience);
*Ideally holds a CIM or digital marketing post graduate qualification;
*Proven track record of success in a Senior Digital Marketing level role (desirable);
*Possesses significant and up-to-date digital marketing skills;
*Analytical and methodical with expertise in managing multiple plans/schedules of activity;
*Proficient in developing in-house digital marketing expertise and employing best practice as per company guidelines.
