We’ve joined forces with Marks and Spencer to open a brand new M&S Simply Food and M&S Café in the John Radcliffe Hospital. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll serve visitors, staff and patients, building good relationships with regular customers. Want to join our team?

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll have a busy role: dealing with customers, working the tills, stocking the shelves and creating a welcoming, attractive store. You’ll work as part of a team, helping colleagues whenever needed. It’s fast-paced and you’ll meet different people every day: good news if you like jobs where no two days are the same. 

If you’ve got experience in food retail, fantastic – but it isn’t essential.  It’s more important that you’re friendly, confident and approachable – good with customers and great in a team.  You should be comfortable encouraging sales and flexible about working hours. There are various shifts available covering Monday to Friday, 6am to 9pm, and you can work between 20 and 38.45 hours per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new: the M&S Café is the first of its kind and the Simply Food store is one of ten WHSmith-M&S partnerships in the UK. Both are due to open in September 2015, so you must be free to start training straight away.
