We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a 12 month fixed term basis. As a Project Manager you will lead a multi-discipline project team within a partnering environment. You will ensure that programmes of work deliver the objectives and that project risks are managed in line with business targets, whilst ensuring health and safety compliance. You will take a lead role in the monitoring and forecasting of project expenditure and programme, whilst ensuring effective delivery. You will be responsible for identifying, communicating and reporting changes including the identification and development of risk mitigation measures.

Salary & Benefits: £29,760 to £36,230 per annum + attractive pension + quarterly performance related bonus + company car or car allowance + 25 days holiday

This vacancy is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What skills are we looking for ?

You must have the ability to work within a partnering environment, form and maintain excellent internal and external working relationships and be able to facilitate, mediate and resolve project issues.

To be successful you must have strong commercial understanding, programme monitoring and forecasting skills to ensure robust financial and commercial management.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:

You will have experience of building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships along with experience of project management and planning and financial / budget management.

It is essential you have an understanding of contract management as is the ability to present and communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences. You will also have experience of influencing cross business teams and partnerships.

As you will be required to travel to different YW locations a full valid EU driving licence is essential.

Ideally you will have previous experience gained within the water or waste water sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.
