The Recruitment Team:

The Recruitment team is a vital part of the overall organisation. The organisation is a busy and motivated team of eight, led by the Head of Global Recruitment. The team is responsible for planning and implementing the organisations graduate recruitment activities, together with a wide variety of one-off specialist recruitment, for their UK and US offices plus APAC, CALA and EMEA.

To support the organisations next phase of exciting growth, they are expanding the team to ensure they meet their ambitious recruitment targets. For example, as part of the organisations overall established Graduate Recruitment Programme, over the next twelve months the organisation is looking to recruit around 30 top-flight graduates to join them in permanent roles, as well as a similar number of internship students to join them during the summer vacation. The organisation also has a significant number of one-off specialist roles to fill, so we will be busy!

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include the following.

  • Liaising with hiring managers to draft recruitment strategy plans and job descriptions for 'one-off' recruitment campaigns, advising them on the most appropriate recruitment methods.
  • Carrying out searches on our on-line CV databases to source candidates.
    Thinking up creative and proactive ways to find the best people i.e. LinkedIn groups, meet ups, breakfast seminars etc.
  • Running the administration of 1st and 2nd interviews (including meeting and greeting candidates, running and marking tests, and liaising with our panel of interviewers).
  • Attending and providing support (sending out mailshots, organising logistics, etc.) for the various graduate recruitment events during the year - including careers fairs, university presentations and other 'on-campus' activities.
  • Additional project work.

The Candidate:

The organisation is looking for a motivated, highly talented person with

  • A degree (in any discipline) and a strong educational background
  • Experience in either an in-house or recruitment agency environment (in any sector but IT preferred)
  • Exceptionally strong organisational and administrative skills, ideally with proven experience in an administrative role
  • Good written skills, with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, combined with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority.

The organisations formal working hours are 9am to 5.30pm. However, due to the nature of the role, there will be occasions when you will be expected to attend events outside of these hours.

Package:

The organisations salaries are above the normal range to ensure that they attract candidates of exceptional quality.
