They now have an opportunity available for a Production Operative to join the team to contribute to the optimal efficiency of specific line(s) by focusing on quality, production, hygiene, housekeeping and any relevant machine issues.

Maintaining personal and plant hygiene by applying manual cleaning procedures to the required standards whilst undertaking designated tasks, you must communicate and cooperate with colleagues in order to achieve goals and maintain product quality; recognising and reporting faults/problems to the appropriate source and within the appropriate timeliness.

You must also accurately complete all reporting and recording procedures applicable to designated tasks, monitor and maintain product quality standards and set, adjust and operate processing and packaging machinery and equipment.

Candidates must have previous experience gained within a similar production role, ideally in an FMCG environment.  You must also be MDP and 5’s’ trained and have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.

Working 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am rotating days and nights – work every other weekend, 22 shifts holiday entitlement and Pension scheme – employee contribution 5%, employer contribution 8.86%.  £6.9201 per hour increasing to £7.4803 per hour once all relevant training completed.
