Assistant Quality Controller & Inspector

New opportunity to join a busy and successful team. The successful candidate will have intermediate Word & Excel skills

Main Purpose of Role is to :

• Inspect goods inwards and outbound to defined specifications and process the documentation accordingly.
• Report and investigate quality issues
• Completion of product design specifications for customer specific delivery requirements and shipping marks

Key Tasks & Accountabilities:

Goods Inwards

• Complete inspection request forms
• Inspect product
• Report on quality issues.

Goods outbound

• Inspect specific customer orders to ensure despatched in accordance with documented procedures
• Investigate potential improvements to produce savings and efficiencies

Product Design Specification

• Completion of delivery requirements and shipping mark section of the PDS form
• Update and maintain delivery requirements process and procedures where needed
• Producing delivery requirement procedures for new customers.
• Approval of shipping marks
• Investigation of any non-compliance.

General

• Order and maintain stock levels for UK packaging
• Maintain stocks of imported packaging
• General administrative duties
