Debt Advisor (Client Support)

StepChange Debt Charity is seeking an innovative Debt Advisor (Client Support) to join the team based in Halifax. The successful applicants will receive a salary of £19,955 per annum plus benefits.

We’re currently recruiting for a team of Debt Advisors to provide appropriate debt advice and support to clients who have contacted us with a debt problem.

To become our Debt Advisor (Client Support) you will need excellent communication skills, along with the ability to quickly analyse complex problems and recommend solutions. You must be able to empathise with clients whilst retaining an objective and realistic approach. Good attention to detail is required. The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel is also essential.

As our Debt Advisor (Client Support) knowledge of money advice would be preferable but is not essential as we’ll give you full training.

The successful Debt Advisor (Client Support) will be required to work between the hours of 10:15am and 6:15pm Monday to Friday.

The start date will be 26th October 2015 and to give you the best possible start you’ll attend a 7 week training academy.
