Platform Installation Engineer - South West

Due to continued growth an opportunity for an Installation Engineer has arisen within a company that specialises in the design, manufacturing, installation, servicing, maintenance and modernisation of commercial and residential lifts, escalators and associated products.

You will be responsible for installing new platform lifts in a safe and timely manner. The successful applicant will be required to liaise with Site Managers to ensure early warning of potential hold-ups, involving the Platform Contract Manager if there are any major issues.

Main Accountabilities:

- Site Surveys
- Lift Installation
- Testing and Handover
- Safety, Management and Reporting

Personnel Specification:

- You should have a minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) with Grade C or above in Maths and Science.
- Ideally you will have completed at least an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering, Maintenance or Installation of Lifting Platforms.
- Must have Valid Full UK Driving Licence
- Must have a CSCS Card or be able to achieve
- Must be able to travel and work away as/when required.

Technical Skills:

- Platform Lift Installation experience preferable
- Electrical / Mechanical / Engineer background
