Job Title: UK Head of Sales

Location: North West with National Travel

Salary: £60-70k package (incl OTE earnings)

Our client designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of brand-personalised products including number plate solutions, promotional merchandise, corporate clothing, work-wear, interior and exterior signage and motor trade point of sale.

KEY RESPONBILITIES:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director and a member of the Senior Management Team, the role will be based at the Group's head office on the Fylde Coast but will require regular travel across the UK in support of the Group's extensive customer base.
  • Responsible for protection of margins with existing customers and increasing market share across the Group's diverse activities particularly within the Automotive sector.
  • Managing a field based team of area sales managers, and Head Office based marketing support and telesales staff.
  • Developing relationships at director level with existing and new customers within SMEs, groups and listed businesses
  • Identify opportunities across the Group for sales of new products and services
  • CRM Management - Develop and monitor KPIs and maximise customer base potential

Key Requirements:

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience as Head of Sales and can demonstrate success in business development in terms of increased customer base, turnover, margin and new product launches
  • Strong strategic skills to assist moving the business forward as well as hands-on ability to make things happen
  • Astute financial and cost awareness
  • Well organised with the ability to manage your time effectively, possessing excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
  • Experienced in building effective working relationships and motivating staff to continuously improve the business
  • Experience of completing tenders and delivering high value client sales presentations is essential - both planned and at short notice
  • Successful track record of closing sales including large private business groups and listed companies
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Fylde Coast
