Position: Quality Manager
Location: Worcester
Salary: Competitive rate dependent on experience
The Job:
Our client are the leading manufacturer in a niche product sector. They are now looking for a dynamic Quality Manager who can multi-task and build this role fully pro-active.
The company specialises in a number of target markets, with a focus on high quality product and first class customer services. Using this platform they need to generate continuous improvement in their processes and delivery performance to a client base with high expectation.
As a Quality Manager you will be expected to have a hands-on approach to tasks relating to resolution of quality issues, manufacturing inspection, and client returns, including the liaison with clients for problem resolution. This will be in close co-operation with our technical manager, production manager, and sales team. You will maintain records and report against specific KPI’s to track trends leading to pro-active development of the business.
Duties will also include hands on product testing in our test facility.
The company operates under ISO 9001 and IIP protocols and the Quality Manager has ultimate responsibility for maintaining compliance of these standards

- Overall ownership of the company quality systems
- Generating reports tracking KPI’s and trends.
- Monitoring and maintenance of Inspection procedures in Manufacturing
- Responsible for Internal audits in association with departmental heads
- Management of documents and records relating to the quality systems
- Generating certificates of conformity and other product release documentation
- Analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills
- The ability to manage and police the company’s current quality database
- First class IT skills especially MS excel, mail software
- Good social skills with the ability to manage and delegate
- A good sense of humour that can be used for team building
- Evidence of recent quality project management delivery and skills
