Our client, a well-respected, multinational, financial practice is seeking an analytical and technically minded, Senior Programmer/ Developer to join their established and expanding management team.
With strong .Net development and project management skills, you will also be experienced in system analysis, designing, implementing and maintaining systems, programming and processing data from client systems to software systems.
As a dynamic motivator and leader, you will also be experienced in overseeing workload scheduling, management and mentoring.
Programming expertise/competence in the following is desirable:
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
- C# and WinForms and ability to code Transact-SQL (T-SQL) stored procedures
- Object oriented code development and familiarity with source control and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
- Knowledge of Visual Basic.NET (VB.NET) and of web development technologies
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005
- Experience performing ETL layer architecture to transform and load data into database for end use.
Experience of working within a financial or related industry would also be an advantage
As a key member of the senior management team further progression and development would be achievable/encouraged.
