Financial Controller
We are a busy and fast-growing Birmingham PR consultancy looking to appoint a commercially-minded and qualified Financial Controller (ICAEW or ACCA) with three years PQE experience running the finances of a similar sized organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with the MD and the management team to ensure the financial smooth-running of the business.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for running all aspects of the company’s finances including:
- Financial budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and control
- Cashbook
- Billing and credit control
- Purchase and sales ledger
- Pay roll processing and taxes
- Expenses
- Audit
- Banking relationships
- VAT& Corporation tax
This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will initially work closely with the group finance function with a view to setting up the new in-house function on site, developing and implementing the business’ systems and processes and growing the department in line with business needs.
Previous PR/marketing agency experience would be advantageous.
