Warehouse Operative
Game are seeking multiple Warehouse Operatives, to join their team based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Offering a salary of £6.68/hour plus staff discount and benefits.

At GAME we are looking for bank Warehouse Operatives to come and join us on a flexible basis as-and-when required throughout the year. You’ll be working in our busy and dynamic warehouse environment. As our Warehouse Operative you’ll receive in-house training and will have access to our facilities, subsidized catering services at our Bistro and discount on GAME products.
During our busy periods we may ask you to support us as our Warehouse Operative with various activities which will include but are not limited to:
- Picking stock items and packing them for dispatch
- Receiving, processing and storing goods
- Processing online orders
- Repairing hardware and/or devices
- Processing returns by scanning, sorting and re-distributing
- Perform quality assurance checks
- Some computer imputing may be required
- Ensuring packing materials are ready in place
- Maintaining a safe working environment
Our successful Warehouse Operative will have the following attributes:
- Ability to carry out manual tasks that could involve heavy lifting
- Basic computer skills
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Attention to detail
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Good communication skills
- Experience or understanding of warehouse environment (desirable)
- Good sense of humour!
Please note: As a bank Warehouse Operative you will be part of a pool of casual workers who would be called upon when required to cover during periods of sickness, holidays or increased workload. You would not be an employee and thus would not be obliged to accept any work offers from us which you do not want to. Should permanent opportunities arise we would recruit from our pool of casual workers first.
