For people with GCSEs; strong literacy and numeracy skills; a keenness to learn; and the determination to succeed, we have exciting opportunities to work in the expanding utilities sector with one of the world’s leading contractors while engaged in a two year training programme working towards becoming a Team Leader, responsible for the installation and maintenance of gas mains and service pipes.

Our aim is to develop your skills and enable you to realise your full potential as you take on more responsibility including for example control of projects, supervision of teams and solving technical problems. To join, you will have to pass DBS and health checks including drug and alcohol tests.

Attending a training centre on a day or block release basis, the rest of your time will be spent in the field ‘on-the-job’ training, typically for two years.
