The Company:
Our client provides technology services to businesses all over the world. Their SaaS arm specializes in eCommerce websites and order management software for the promotional product, print and sign industries.

Their Interactive Imaging arm incorporates Technologo, the world’s leading provider of Virtual Sample software, which allows customers to personalize products such as mugs, t-shirts and bags with their logo and visualize what their branded product would look like.

Additionally they are in the process of launching a service called Artworktool. Artworktool has two key applications: for business (enterprise) use, it acts as an online designer, so customers can design their own signs, printed stationery, promotional items and apparel while they’re on a supplier’s website.

For personal use, Artworktool enables anyone to design and publish social media, web and blog graphics for free; users can also download graphics in a print ready format for a small fee.

What They’re looking for:
They’re seeking a Marketing Executive to join the Interactive Imaging arm which incorporates Technologo and Artworktool.

You’ll start out by working with the management team to create a marketing plan for these services. The plan needs to incorporate a strategy for meeting agreed company objectives. These are principally to retain existing customers, and generate leads for new business. Once the plan is completed, you’ll be responsible for implementing the tactics that will achieve the strategy.

Tactics they’ve found effective to date have been search engine optimization, email marketing, social media, video content, blogs, webinars, PR and exhibitions. You’re invited and encouraged to identify new ways to engage their customers, and you’ll be responsible for measuring the performance of all of these channels, so you can make improvements and identify where the marketing budget is best allocated.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving their websites, writing email copy, posting to social media, writing blogs and press releases, conducting webinars, and potentially representing the company at global trade shows. They use a Marketing Campaign Planner to plan, manage and report on campaign effectiveness, plus an email marketing, lead nurturing and marketing automation program called Inbox25. You’ll receive full training on both.

You will have the resources of a graphic design team, so while it is important that you are a competent copy writer, and have a good eye for presentation, you will not need to have Photoshop skills etc.

They are a rapidly growing company and so good time and budget management are both essential attributes of the ideal candidate.

Ideally you’ll have:
  • At least two years’ marketing experience
  • Great copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Previous experience promoting technology services
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work as a team and also under limited supervision
  • A marketing or related degree, or qualification
