Electrical Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Estimator for a long established company operating in the Building Services industry. The company provides Mechanical (HVAC) and Electrical contracting services and maintenance of HVAC systems and associated Building Services. The company operates in all business sectors including Retail, Commercial, Residential and Education.


This position will have responsibility for

· Take off from drawings and produce competitive tenders

· Input take offs into Estimation software system

· Solicit competitive bids from sub contractors / suppliers

· Analyse fully subcontract / supplier tenders for compliance to the specification and drawings

· Present tenders to Directors for review prior to final submission

· Offer value engineering options

· Attend handover meetings to contracting team on successful tenders

· Post Tender Negotiation



· Skills/Attributes required:

· Excellent Electrical estimating experience

· Commercially astute

· Good Industry knowledge

· High level of self-motivation and organizational ability

· Able to build and maintain relationships with Clients and Main Contractors
