GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Rayware Group are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our in-house design team.  Established in 1975, the family owned Rayware Group has become a leading housewares creator and manufacturer to some of Britain’s best known brands including Viners Cutlery, Mason Cash, Kilner Jar, Typhoon, Price & Kensington and Ravenhead.

From our headquarters in Liverpool we design and develop kitchen, dining and cookware product and supply them to department stores, independent cook shops, garden centres and gift shops across the UK and Internationally.

Duties will cover

• Producing of a wide variety of printed and electronic marketing materials to a brief

   including website graphics, packaging, catalogues, flyers and point of sale

• Working swiftly to produce high-quality design concepts with visual impact

• Maintain and update general marketing collateral/presentations

• Keeping the company brand guidelines current, accurate and consistent, and

  maintaining the use of the brand across all company graphics

• Work to a file management system, ensuring all design work is logged and filed

• Assisting with photo shoots and maintaining the image library              

Skills, Qualities & Abilities

• Experienced in designing packaging, printed brochures, and flyers

• Capable to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• Ability to work as a member of a multi-functional team

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

Essential

• Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education or qualifications

• At least 1 years experience working in the design industry. Retail/FMCG design

  experience desirable but not essential

• Ability to execute design solutions using Adobe CS

• A strong creative flair, and a strong visual sense

• Understanding of colour profiles, file & image formatting and output for print
