Our client is currently looking for a Support Analyst to provide support for the groups M3 Business Application. The role will involve handling support calls from users, working with a third party software company to resolve issues, training users in M3 and assisting with the implementation of Process Improvements with the aim of ensuring the Company is using M3 as effectively as possible.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The following list is not exhaustive and other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature may be required:

  • To log and resolve user issues, documenting issues and resolutions as appropriate, and covering the support desk as and when required to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient support service in line with agreed service levels
  • To work with a third party software supplier to find solutions to issues/bugs which cannot be resolved internally, implement solutions and communicate with users to provide a quality, efficient service when issues are identified
  • To collect business needs and use information gathered to identify and document areas requiring process improvements
  • To upgrade, maintain, and perform all required operations to keep M3 documentation accurate and up to date
  • To provide internal application support to the Technical Support team to enable them to effectively provide support to users
  • To arrange and provide user support and training, in particular for new starters or where processes have changed, in order to promote user understanding and actual usage of applications across the group
  • To test process changes and software releases, ensuring no adverse impact on the business
  • To provide purchase order administration for M3 and related applications e.g. maintenance invoices, acquiring new licences, capital projects
  • To perform any other tasks reasonably requested to achieve business objectives, as and when required
