Care Services Project Manager - Glasgow - GBP35k-GBP38,481 + Benefits (2yr Fixed Term contract)

Our quality driven client is now looking to recruit an experienced Care Services Manager with experience and a strong background of managing change and leading projects within the Care and housing sector supporting older people living in their homes. You will have already obtained a Project Management qualification (Prince 2), and a Leadership & Management qualification or equivalent.

This is a challenging but exciting new position with one of Scotland's most highly regarded expanding care providers. The job is to be based in Glasgow and this new role is a 2 year fixed term contract position.

As the Project & Change Manager, you will be part of the Care Services Management Team working together to promote and manage complex projects working to deadlines and time scales. You will need experience with working with older peoples services and housing, building strong relationships with Local Authorities, the NHS, the Care Inspectorate, Scottish Social Housing and Housing regulators, Stakeholders, colleagues and decision makers throughout the care, housing and health sectors. You will need to be a decisive, confident and professional manager who is approachable, cheerful and organised and who can plan ahead and have strong leadership skills.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic energetic manager who is a car owner/driver and who resides in the Glasgow area and who has good local knowledge. Excellent IT skills are required along with good business acumen, experience of working to budgets, KPI's, ability to report to stakeholders on the progress of projects being managed. Experience with business process mapping and analysis is essential for this position.

You will need to have already achieved leadership & management qualifications as a minimum, have a full understanding of the care sector, the process, regulations and standards and have a genuine passion for delivering a high quality service with person centred care and planning for older people. The purpose of this new role is to lead, project and change manage a portfolio of transformational projects into a range of diverse operational care and support services in Glasgow. You will be instrumental ensuring services remain responsible to a person centred approach to the lives of older people.
